Hi...my hair is thinning since months ago. i am trying Nioxin products now for the past month, it's fine. i bought Nioxin 1 Cleanser, Scalp Treatment, and Scalp Therapy..but i do not know how to use the scalp treatment though..so i spray it and leave it on after i wash my hair or wash it away after few minutes? Please help! and what should i eat/avoid eating to help hair regrowing? i am trying to sleep at regular hours... hope this helps! How do i use Nioxin hair product?
here are the right steps to use it
# Pump the foam directly on your scalp area. Make sure to cover the entire area to provide maximum results.
# Distribute the foam. Take your fingers and spread the foam evenly on your scalp. Flip your head over to get the underside of your hair evenly.
# Use a comb to spread product. Take a comb and run it through your hair evenly. Make sure to take plenty of time combing your entire hair area.
# Don't rinse your hair after application.
also try to apply coconut oil for 3 hours twice a week , you will see a great results

Don't fall for any professional hair products being sold online-they are not supposed to be there!!! go to nioxin.com and click on salon locator...you can type in your zip and it will give you salons in your area that carry it. :)
Don't start with that junk... As soon as you stop using it it will make the original condition worse.
Try this instead.

Those topical products are for the birds... Hair is dead from the moment it leaves your scalp therefore anything that you put onto it from the outside of your body will have little to only temporary effects at best and when you stop using it, it get's worse than before.
Go to your dermotologist and ask them if you have any specific condition that may be causing this problem. If they can't help then consult an endocronologist for hormone replacement therapy as it is usually one or the other.
Anything you take internally such as a hair vitamin that contains Biotin or another similar protein as in the case of this supplement Nourkrin... will always help faster, better and will last longer...

These are unauthorized retailers, and the product may not be of the same quality. Don't listen to the person who said you will have problems if you suddenly stop using Nioxin. Nioxin hair product for fine thin lookin hairs.I (male) have been using this for almost 3yrs now but there is not a difference i mean the hairs r not growing even using folicle booster but ya they r not fallin as much as dey were b4.so i wanna ask if sumone is using nixion n notice any changes?or recommened any gud treatments for thinnin hairs if u had or sumone else had tried?

I have heard that Nioxin will start new growth if you have lost hair. (My hairdresser put in extensions when she was in beauty school, and the glue made her lose chunks of hair). She claims that Nioxin made her hair grow back very quickly. Does it really work that well? How can something that you are using externally make hair grow? I also heard that it dries out your hair. Is that true?
